It's interesting to read about how people are using SRS's in a much more expanded way in their lives, putting in personal development quotes, etc. I could easily see myself doing this, I LOVE Anki.

I'm trying to put into practice what I have learned in the past about learning vocabulary: the effectiveness of connecting the word to be learned with something personal, funny, visual, etc. E.g. "a ____ vermelha do Marvin Gaye" is a more effective way of remembering this word than "cap/beanie."

Also, remembering that even after having been learning English for 23 years, I still have to pause and find the right word. SO I SHOULD NOT GET BUMMED OUT WHEN I HAVE TO DO THE SAME IN A LANGUAGE I'VE BEEN STUDYING FOR 4 MONTHS. lol
