Keep pouncing, and keep starting. I'm slowly lowering my standards to where, as long as I've started on my daily work, every day, then I'm satisfied. As long as I've sat in my chair to meditate, played a few notes on the keyboard, reviewed a few flash cards, I'm satisfied. I'm not used to this lowering of my expectations, but I can already see it helping. It helps to make sure I continue through the periods when I don't feel like working, especially with music, when I feel discouraged or uninspired or overwhelmed. As long as I keep moving, keep starting, keep edging along, I end up making more progress than spurts and inspirations.
